Musket Guns/Long Barrel Rifle Stocks

Figured Lombardy Poplar (L, $450) and Stunningly Colorful Silver Maple (R, $750) pieces.
These look (to my amateur eye) like great pieces of wood for replica guns:
3" thick, edge grain, super grain patterns and choices of where to cut.

Here is another piece of Silver Maple, next 3" slab over from the one above. The log was so big both pieces are excellent edge grain. $700 OBO

Big Billets

Slab shed: Silver Maple - Mantlepiece?

Large billet with natural edges. Very heavy. Some serious flaws, visible in side "A"
(bad saw cut near front edge, side "B", otherwise "B" looks
pretty nice except a couple of knots.) ~42 BdFt.
Whole billet: $402 (@9.50 $/BdFt, and will cut edge(s) or ? on request),
or will cut off piece(s) to suit (@10-12 $/BdFt).
