Here is a sample F scale played on a pearwood Mollenhauer Modern Alto Recorder. It is in uncompressed WAV format (around 150K) and should play on virtually any machine. The 3rd octave fingerings are tricky and it's easier to fluff the top B and C than to play them with good tone, but how many recorders have 2-1/2 chromatic octaves with no bell stopping?
